DAY 01 | AIRPORT ➤ NEGOMBO
  • Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by a representative from Holidia Travels and transferred to your hotel in Negombo.
  • Relax at the hotel and enjoy the sunset and the sandy beach in the evening.
  • Dinner will be served at the hotel.
  • After breakfast at the hotel, check out and head to Sigiriya.
  • Visit the Negombo lagoon, Fish market, and the St. Mary's Church.
  • In the afternoon, climb the Sigiriya Lion Rock, an ancient fortress perched on a massive rock.
  • After exploring the lion rock, enjoy some delicious fruits served by the staff.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya
  • After breakfast, embark on a village tour that includes rides on bullock carts, boats, and a traditional meal.
  • On the way to Kandy, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Stop at a spice garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka's spices.
  • In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka.
  • Enjoy a traditional Kandyan dance performance and overnight stay in Kandy.
  • After breakfast, visit the Gem Museum in Kandy to see Sri Lanka's famous gems and jewelry. Visit a silk shop to see traditional Sri Lankan dresses.
  • After lunch, head to a tea plantation and enjoy a cup of Sri Lankan tea at the tea factory.
  • Take a Nuwara Eliya city tour and relax at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
  • After breakfast, depart for Yala National Park.
  • In the afternoon, go on a safari in Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka's premier wildlife sanctuaries.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Yala.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Galle and visit the Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch at the fort.
  • In the afternoon, witness the traditional practice of stilt fishing.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel in the south coast.
  • Pick up your breakfast packets and head to Mirissa for a whale watching excursion.
  • After whale watching, enjoy lunch and transfer back to your hotel in the south coast.
  • Whale watching is a seasonal activity, typically taking place between November and April.
  • After breakfast, take a scenic train ride to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.
  • Enjoy lunch in Colombo and take a city tour.
